Dr. DeCesare received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry in 1963, where he served as class president for two years. Following graduation, he spent two years at Quonset Point Naval Air Station as a dental officer. He then enrolled at the Boston University Graduate School of Dentistry and in 1967 received his specialty degree in periodontics.
Dr. DeCesare is a native Rhode Islander and is a graduate of Classical High School and Providence College. He has been practicing in RI since 1967 and has been awarded Diplomate status in “The International Congress of Implantologists” and has been elected a Fellow of the “International College of Dentists”, American College of Dentists”, and the “Pierre Fauchard Academy”. In 2012 the Pierre Fauchard Academy presented Dr. DeCesare with the Distinguished Dental Citation.
In his spare time Dr. “D” enjoys spending time with his five grown children and six grand kids, besides golfing, biking, working out and spending time with wife, Charlotte, and family in sunny Florida.
