State of the Art Therapy
At Rhode Island Periodontics, we pride ourselves in providing the most current, state of the art, dentistry that is available for the well being of our patients. Whether it be using the newest techniques in treating periodontal disease and replacing missing teeth, or investing in the latest advances in diagnostics, our goal is to treat each and every patient as we would our own family and provide the best care possible. Within the pages highlighted in the black bar to the left, you can learn about some of the technology and techniques we use to achieve this goal. None of this would be possible without our devotion to continuous education.
CONTINUING EDUCATION is the cornerstone for excellence in one’s profession. At Rhode Island Periodontics, we are firm believers in providing the best, most effective therapy for our patients. To achieve this goal, our doctors routinely undergo advanced dental training. Utilizing the most state of the art techniques our specialty has to offer, our patients can rest assure that they will receive the best possible care. When it comes to Continuing Education, it is not unusual for each doctor at Rhode Island Periodontics to log in over 50 hours of advanced dental study each and every year. In addition to attending national and local meetings, as well as university based teaching programs, part of their training includes their membership in the Providence Dental Study Club. Founded by Drs. Katz and Theberge in 1993, this “University without Walls” allows our doctors the opportunity to work with outstanding restorative and specialty dentists throughout southern New England. In doing so, our patients receive the benefit of an intersisciplinary team approach to their care and treatment. We can think of no better gift to our patients than the gift of knowledge. When doctors meet to review a case, the patient can be assured they are receiving care based on the input and opinions of not one, but several clinicians. This Interdisciplinary team approach to treatment planning is the hallmark of care at Rhode Island Periodontics.
